After many months of waiting admidst much speculation, this Friday marks the US premiere of the 2-part episode featuring the “resurrection” of Dr. Carson Beckett in Season 4. The Kindred Part 1 will air at 10 pm (9 pm Central) on Sci Fi Channel on Friday, February 22, and Part 2 will air on February 29.
We want the US viewing ratings for this episode to be stellar, to demonstrate the popularity of Carson with fans. You can do your part by spreading the word to get others to watch, by watching live rather than on a DVR recording, and/or by purchasing the episodes afterward on iTunes or Amazon Unbox. For those in the UK, the episode will air on 26 Feb., so be sure to watch it then!
According to spoilers the Wraith/human hybrid Michael will be in the episode. Putting together the various hints that have been made by Joe Mallozzi and others, Carson’s reappearance seems linked to Michael in some way. The Sci Fi trailer for the episode indicates Carson won’t be “discovered” by the Atlantis team until the last 5 minutes of the epsiode. Presumably he’ll be more prominent in Part 2. Regardless, we encourage everyone to watch all of both episodes.

I am Nicole. I watched it twice and I’ll watch it another time next week before the new episode. This isn’t even counting all the times I’ll watch it on my DVR. But as a said earlier tonight, we shouldn’t relax just because he’s back. Not until Paul is reprising his role as a full cast member just like in the good old days.
Troops! Man your keyboards! Ready your pens! Buy more stamps! We will prove the need for Carson to be on this program or die trying! CHARGE!

Amen to that! We need Carson back…..FULL TIME!!!!!!!!!! Keller can just be happy being his second! Just wish to know WHAT Carson will be doing in between the episodes he IS in!
Yes indeed it was wonderful to see him….even if it was only for about four minutes! Keep it upm guys! We need to make them aware that we still want him back full time!

Wow! I just watched Sunday today which is… Sunday! To say the truth I cried when Dr. Carson Beckett died. You have no idea of the thoughts that ran through my mind to come up with some excuse as to why your died. I thought of possibilities of how it could have been wrong or a dream episode. You were truly wonderful in this episode and I cannot wait to see you back. To me, you are the best actor and person on the set and have the best Scottish accent. I can not wait to buy the rest of the seaons for Stargate Atlantis! Love you in the best way.

I watched and taped both showings of Kindred Pt.1 - I was watching with bated breath hoping Carson would pop up sooner than the last 5 mins. But of course not, matter of fact, he was in the very last 15 seconds and spoke only 10 words! Which I have replayed many times over since then. The preview for Pt. 2 hints that maybe he is a replicator. The agreement was to bring Carson back for REAL-not a ghost, not replicator, etc., but REAL! I’m thinking they could always say the Carson in “Sunday” was a replicator-that Michael kidnapped him sometime previous to that episode, so it was a replicator Carson in “Sunday” that died, and the real Carson is the one that Sheppard, McKay and Ronin just found in the Wraith stronghold building. They better not make THIS Carson the replicator. We ALL want him back full-time as a regular and in many more than just 5 episodes! I can’t wait for Pt. 2!!!!!!! And Woolsey in charge of Atlantis? Who are the writers kidding?-That should prove ‘fascinating’!

OK. Now that Carson IS back even as a clone we need to make TPTB know with EVERY episode Paul/Carson is in that we want him back…..FULL TIME!!!!! That means we need the highest ratings possible for EVERY EPISODE!!!! Let’s DO this, gang! For PAUL AND CARSON!!!!!!! ‘The Kindred Part II’ got really high ratings! We need to keep that up!
