A week ago, Paul McGillion appeared at the sci fi convention FedCon ‘07 in Germany. Paul was in great spirits, playing off his fellow guests at every opportunity and being very friendly with fans. He treated everyone in the photo-ops to an energetic display of bone-crushing hugs and comedy poses. He even posed with our SCB banner and some devoted fans!

Paul also spent time with Jewel Staite, who will play his “replacement” Dr. Keller on Atlantis. They did a joint photo-shoot, and shared one of his two panels, and it was obvious to those in attendance they are very close friends and work really well together. Jewel was very nice to everyone and won over those who hadn’t met her before. So we’d like to reiterate one more time that Jewel doesn’t deserve any criticism for Carson being written out; she didn’t make that decision!
