Time to Get Writing Again!

“Sunday”, the episode ending with Carson’s untimely demise, will premier on the US Sci Fi channel on Friday, June 1. For millions of fans, this will be the first they learn of Beckett being written out of Stargate Atlantis. So we at SCB want to launch a big media push to coincide with that premier, to let fans know we’re here and get even more media coverage than we did in for our pipe band event.
To that end, we’re asking fans to spool up once again and write to the media outlets below, especially if you live near one of the cities corresponding to a newspaper. Just a quick note to say you’re unhappy Carson was written out, you want him back, and you support this campaign would be very effective.

Your email can still make a difference! It doesn’t matter where you live, the more supportive fans who contact the press, the better! It was emails from all over the world that nudged a paper in Nashville, TN to write a piece. You CAN make a difference!!!

I love the name ‘Toblerone’. Gives me the choccie munchies.
I sent off emails to everybody. My letter was probably a bit on the long side - I prattle.
Only 2 or three bounced back so that was not too bad. Thanks for supplying the email addresses.
I put in my postal address, hoping that the Scottish address would attract their attention and that the email would, at least, be read.

I just sent off three emails and will do more when that next time I can get to a computer! We need LETTERS guys! I left out a bunch of flyers at MediaWest Con 27 over this last weekend hoping to generate response! The panel/wake we held at the con was a well attended one and EVERYONE there was PISSED!!!!!!!

Beckett was my favorite character, and SGA one of my favorite escapes from reality. Five days ago I put my husband on a plane to go back to Iraq. Watching someone I like get killed was not the greatest escape in the world. I’m grateful for savecarsonbeckett.com for soothing my soul a bit. Looking forward to seeing him again. This was a bad idea to begin, but the timing was horrible.
