If you’re in the US and watching Stargate on the Sci Fi Channel, don’t forget the new half-seasons for Atlantis and SG-1 start Friday night, April 13, at 7 pm/6 pm CDT with a 1-hour special hosted by Michael Shanks and Chris Judge, followed by new episodes of both shows.
In order for there to be a Season 5 for Carson to return to full-time, there needs to be high ratings for the rest of Season 3 on Sci Fi. So please watch the shows live and encourage your friends and family to do the same, especially if they are Nielsen families!
BTW, the shows must be watched LIVE, not recorded from Tivo, in order to count in the ratings. =/ It will make it tough for most people, but maybe folks can just leave the TV on the Sci-Fi channel, even if away from home? LOL! =D
You’re very right! I know TiVo viewing is not directly included in the Nielsens but it is provided as data, and if people are watching hours later, then it’s assumed they are skipping the commercials, which means they don’t count. So yes, turn on the TV to Sci Fi all night tonight, even if it’s only your cat watching!
LOL! My cat will be VERY happy to have us do that. He IS the god of the house.
I’ll watch Season Three with friends (I don’t have cable anymore) until the ep before Sunday. Still no intention to watch that travesty, or any of the eps afterwards.
To all the cats in the US - enjoy your TV time. Curl up on the chair and snooze your way through Stargate Atlantis for us.
We, the cats of Scotland, will be eternally grateful that you have made our human slaves happy.
