In response to the many, many letters the big-time UK magazine SFX received, the editors contacted Paul McGillion for a written response to the fan outcry. The print issue due out next week will have a shortened version of Paul’s letter, and SFX have printed the full letter on their web site. You may read Paul’s very sweet letter

I watched with shock and dismay the senseless death of Carson Beckett. Because I had been moving I didn’t even have my VCR hooked up or my TV, so I went to my son’s house to watch ATLANTIS. I did not know this was coming as I had been to busy packing and unpacking boxes. What are these idiots thinking that make these decisions!! Carson is my favorite character and the reason I buy the season’s DVDs. No Carson, No buying anymore DVDs of the show.
