Our sources tell us Paul McGillion has re-located to Los Angeles for the time being, seeking acting work there. We have an idea to get Paul some exposure in LA and across the US, and to get the campaign some publicity, too.
Many of you will know of Craig Ferguson, who hosts CBS’s The Late Late Show each weekday night, right after The Late Show with David Letterman. Craig is a Scot who is fiercely proud of his Glasgow roots. We think he would be sympathetic and interested in Paul’s story. He might even invite Paul to be on the show, which would be great for his career.
We’re therefore asking fans to please take a moment to email the Late Late Show and tell them that Carson Beckett, the only Scottish member of the Stargate Atlantis expedition, has been written out, and to ask for Craig’s help to get Carson back. Tell them you’d love to see Paul McGillion as a guest on the show. Let them know you support this site and provide our URL, http://www.savecarsonbeckett.com.

As the creator of the Conan O Brien Campaign to save stargate sg-1 I think this is a great idea and I support it 100 percent. I have already sent off a e-mail and started to get my guild and connections involved for this task.
Success is right around the cornor. If the fans can bring daniel back, why not Carson.

I just sent one in. Hopefully it was not to long but not too short. Anyway, I sure hope that if enough people send in requests, he’ll say something about it or have Paul on. Wouldn’t that be awsome?

Craig is HILARIOUS…love the show! I really think we could do this! Even a mention would be great publicity for the campaign AND Paul & even SGA. Plus Paul is hilarious too. I bet Paul and Craig verbal sparring Scottish stylee could bring the house down! It would ROCK!

Beckett actually gave credibility to “Mackay”. He was the “Scotty” we all miss from StarTrek
Why is it the Scotts are always the ones to go from the lead…. was the character too strong?

They’re gonna make a new Star Trek movie that takes place when Captain Kirk and co were in Starfleet Academy. Paul should play Scotty! That would be AWESOME! Let’s try to figure out how to make that a possibility!

We want Carson back - plain and simple.
This gives Paul regular work and helps our favourite TV fix stay on air for years to come.
