Announcing our “letter-raising” campaign for Carson! We’re looking for all those talented authors and artists out there to help us get even more letters of support for Carson Beckett sent to The Powers That Be. We’re holding a fanfic/art for letters auction.
The idea is that those who are able will offer their services to write a story or create a piece of artwork. There is a form for all those who are willing to share their talent on the website. You can give details of what you are going to provide.
Then those who want a story especially written for them, or a piece of artwork created for them, will make a bid. The bid will take the form of the number of letters you will send to TPTB to help save Carson. You don’t have to write them all yourself, in fact it would be better if you didn’t. But you can encourage friends and family to write, and help send some of the many letters we receive at the site.
You will also be given the option of whether you want the fanfic or artwork to remain private, or if you are willing for it to be posted at other sites. If it is posted elsewhere, then it must state that it was created for you and was done as part of the SaveCarsonBecket campaign.

Please also spread the word around other fanfic/artist’s sites so if there is anyone there who is interested in creating or in bidding, they will be able to get involved.

Both Mice and Spubba have tried to offer things for the auction but Spubba says the form didn’t work for her and Mice says his offering isn’t listed, even though he has a 50 letter bid on his fanfic offer already.
I know there are some bugs in the system, but they’ll have to be worked out fast if the auction will be over on Decmeber 17th. That’s only 10 days from now.

I’ve posted both to offer my services and to bid but as of yet neither are appearing on the list. Just wanted to pass that along.

Two friends of mine wanted to bid on my offer, but their bids do not appear, too.
I’m pretty sure they’d write these letters anyway, but just wanted to let you know that this is still not working quite propperly…
And I also wanted to express my thanks for all the efforts or working on this site! -

Hi all, the list has to be updated manually, and we’re doing that 2-3 times/day. You should see your bids now unless they just came in in the last hour. As far as the form, if anyone is having problems with the form, please write to us via the “Contact” tab and we’ll get on it right away.

Just to let you know my Bid for Bethany’s offering is wrong, it’s under the Photo Manip and should be under Vid.
